#27.5: Hey Boo, I Need Your Input!
Help me craft the next era of Oh, Write content :)
Hey you!
Surprise! It’s me! I just wanted to hop into your inboxes for a hot second and give y’all a quick update on Oh, Write’s fabulous 2022 *throws glitter* rebrand *throws glitter*. As I mentioned in a previous issue, I plan on creating additional Substack content for paid subscribers.
There may be a slight shift in that initial plan. I may, instead, produce paid content on Patreon through a pay-what-you-can model, with tiers at $3, $5, or $10 a month.
Before I start producing, I need your input: What would you be interested in paying for?
Below are ideas I’ve had, but the possibilities are truly endless:
A diverse book club w/monthly meetings
A behind-the-scenes podcast or video series on being a content creator, independent author, whatever
Weekly coworking sessions on Zoom/Discord/etc.
Digital versions of future zines
An interview series with creatives from Medium & beyond
A serial fiction series updated weekly (this is actually coming!!)
Life updates (I’d probably spill some more tea than usual LOL)
Some fun community-building things: movie nights, game nights, live-streams, powerpoint parties LOL, some kind of fun event you can attend that’ll happen live.
